How to Approach Mussoorie |
Rail: Up to Haridwar: Shatabdi Express, Jan Shatabdi or
Mussorie Express. Also direct trains from Mumbai and Lucknow. Further 100 Kms by
road. |
Road: 300 Kms from New Delhi via Rishikesh. Drive time 7-8
hrs depending on the traffic conditions. Via Dehradun - Mussorie, Kanatal is
340 Kms. |

Surkhanda Devi Temple- Considered as the fifth dham of Garhwal, located at
10,000 ft. is 8 Kms drive & 2 Kms trek.
